Events:

  • Trapper Days: We had a great time with you at Trapper Days! We're already looking forward to Trapper Days 2022!
  • Fall Clean-up Day: Fall Cleanup will be a voucher program this fall. Vouchers may be redeemed at Fort Lupton City Hall beginning September 20th. Vouchers are valid from October 1-31. Senior/Disabled Pickup will be on September 23rd. Please call City Hall to sign up for Senior/Disable pick-up, (303) 857-6694.   • Friday Night Flix and Food Trucks: September 17th at Koshio Park. Enjoy food from food trucks and watch The Mask with us. Food trucks from 7 pm - 8 pm and the movie begins at 7:15 pm.

Road Work:

  • Fort Lupton:
    • Near the Port of Entry north of WCR 28 - improvements to weigh-in-motion technology Intermittent lane closures are expected Monday - Friday from 8 am to 4 pm between WCR 28 and WCR 30.
    • 9th Street is closed for a reconstruction project from Nothrup east to CR 31. 
  • US 85: Near Platteville, expect delays. For more information on the US 85 resurfacing project? Visit: https://www.codot.gov/projects/us85-platteville-resurfacing
  • Weld County Road 20: A different contractor is constructing turn lanes and acceleration lanes. Lane closures are expected Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. near WCR 20.

Fort Lupton Recreation Center: 

  • Hunter Safety: Hunter Safety will be held on October 9th and 10th. Please call the Recreation Center at 303.857.4200 x6160 to pre-register. If the student is under 10 years of age, a parent must attend all classes with the child.

  • Trapper Days: Is this weekend! On September 10-11th come enjoy one of the oldest celebrations of Colorado heritage in the state! Dating back over 100 years, Trapper Days is our largest festival celebrating our pioneers, past, present, and future! Enjoy a full day of fun starting with a parade down our main street, just as it was done 100 years ago! Fill up on fresh, top-notch food trucks, designer gelato pops, live music, a pizza competition, cornhole competition (with cash prizes), beer garden, car show, bike show, and vendors, vendors, vendors!
