To our Parents and Students,
As students head back to school, the library encourages you to review changes we have made to ensure the safety of all patrons. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, we need to limit the number of patrons in the library at one time, for one hour each. Unfortunately, this means that we will not be able to accommodate our large student population after school and youth will not be allowed to gather at the library. Our hours have been condensed as well and we now close at 6pm Monday – Thursday, at 5pm on Fridays and at 3pm on Saturdays. Please familiarize yourself with the changes below and know that we look forward to serving our community in full capacity when the situation allows.

Is the library open? - See above for updated hours.
Yes! We are open beginning Monday, June 29.In order to preserve the health and safety of our staff and community, we have condensed our services and provided hours for vulnerable populations. Masks are required to enter the building, per state-issued mandate. We ask that when you visit the library you follow social distancing guidelines and observe our directional signage.
What services is the library offering?
At this time patrons can browse items for checkout, use the computers, print, copy, and fax. Patrons will do their own printing, faxing and copying. Any assistance a staff member provides must be while social distancing and with the use of gloves and mask. The Children’s Easy section will still be closed until further notice.
How many persons are allowed in the building?
27 persons, excluding staff, will be allowed in the building at one time.
How long can patrons be in the building?
In order to provide all community members an opportunity to use our services, there is a one-hour time limit per patron, per day.
Can I use a computer?
Yes. Computers are limited due to safe distancing guidelines. Please call us at 303-857-7180 to reserve a computer time. Computer reservations are for same day only.
What about Curbside Pickup?-
We are still offering curbside pickup. Please continue to place items on hold and we will contact you to schedule a pickup time.
Are you still offering programs?
Yes! All programs are being offered virtually via our Facebook page and Go To Meeting. You do not need to have a Facebook account to participate in these programs. For Go To Meeting, simply use the link and password in the event descriptions on our website here or Facebook here.
What will happen to my items on hold?
You will be notified when your items are ready. You have the option to schedule a curbside pickup, or come inside and pick up your holds from self checkout. .
Can I return my items?
You can return you items now using the book drop. To ensure the health and safety of our patrons, returned items will be held for a specific time to meet CDC guidelines before recirculating.
Where can I find online movies, books, and music?
All of our streaming and downloadable services are available now. This includes Overdrive/Libby (ebooks, audiobooks, and comics), Hoopla (music, movies, ebooks, audiobooks, and comics), Kanopy (movies), Freegal (streaming and downloadable music), and Flipster (magazines).
Where can I find community resources?
We have gathered a list of local resources for you here.
What about ILL and Prospector?
We will waive all fines on Interlibrary Loan and Prospector items once they are returned.
